For our lab at Forskningsparken, we are now searching for a;
Battery Cell Scientist and/or technician:
The position is newly established and will report to the CTO. Supervision from experienced electrochemists will be available. The work will mainly be performed at the Cenate laboratory at Forskningsparken, near the Blindern subway station in Oslo.
Some prioritized responsibilities and working tasks will be:
- Electrode casting and cell assembly of our new materials in coin cells and small pouch cells
- Document experiments and support continuous improvement efforts
- Participate in recipe development for electrodes
- Participate in interpretation of cell testing results
- Support other laboratory tasks as needed in collaboration with the R&D team
We are looking for a candidate with the following background:
- Ability to perform experimental tasks with high precision and attention to detail
- Experience with slurry production and electrochemical cell production
- Good communication in English, oral and written
- Basic chemical laboratory HSE competence
- The content of the work tasks will be adapted to the competence level of the candidate
